100 Episodes Of Mann Ki Baat: A Look At Notable Addresses By PM Modi In His Monthly Radio Broadcast

<p>The monthly 'Mann Ki Baat' radio broadcast hosted by Prime Minister Modi, in which he addresses the people of the country on different topics, ranging from environment, cleanliness to social issues, will complete its 100th episode on April 30. Mann Ki Baat, which aired for the first time on October 3, 2014, is now translated into 23 Indian languages and 29 dialects.</p> <p>Speaking ahead of the 100th episode, PM Modi said, "Mann Ki Baat has become a very good platform to highlight the specialities of the people of India and praise the uniqueness of the country." "Like you, I am also eagerly awaiting the 100th episode," he added.</p> <p>Ahead of the milestone, here is a look at the most notable episodes of 'Mann Ki Baat' of Modi since he started the programme after becoming the Prime Minister in 2014.</p> <h3>Episode 1</h3> <p>On the first episode of his monthly address, that was aired on October 3, 2014, PM Modi urged the listeners to buy Khadi clothes to boost the income of the poor. He also discussed the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and called on citizens to participate in the cleanliness drive.</p> <h3>Episode 19</h3> <p>On this episode that was broadcast on April 24, 2016, PM Modi talked about water shortage problems in various areas of the country and how the citizens are making efforts to correct this.
