<p>The police cordoned off Delhi's borders with stone barricades on Sunday to prevent farmers and women from entering the national capital for a 'Mahila Panchayat' protest outside the new Parliament building. There will be a large number of police and paramilitary personnel deployed. Women police officers will also be deployed in large numbers.</p> <p>To prevent a law and order situation, all of Delhi's borders will be sealed, including the Singhu border, the Dilshad Garden border, the Badarpur border, and the Tikri border, and paramilitary forces will be deployed. Six more companies will be retained in the North East Delhi region, which was hit by riots in 2020. There will also be two women companies stationed.</p> <p>Last week, an umbrella group of khap panchayats announced plans to hold an all-woman panchayat in support of the wrestlers, who are demanding the arrest of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.</p>
