Army, CISF Called To Douse Bhopal Govt Building Fire, CM Shivraj Speaks To PM Modi

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">All agencies including CISF, Army, firefighters were engaged in the operation to douse the massive fire that broke out at the Satpura Bhawan building, which houses various offices of the Madhya Pradesh government, in Bhopal, as reported by the news agency ANI. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">District Collector, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Ashish Singh said that the fire has been brought under control and all the agencies including CISF, Army came together to douse the fire.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&ldquo;The fire has been brought under control. All agencies including CISF, Army came together to douse the fire and it has been controlled,&rdquo; Ashish Singh said, as quoted by ANI. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">&ldquo;All available resources including fire tenders, army and CISF were mobilised. The situation appears to be under control. I am hopeful that the fire will be brought under control soon,&rdquo; he also said.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bhopal Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra said that according to the primary information received short circuit is the cause of the fire. He also said that a team of experts has been formed to investigate it.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&ldquo;The flames have been controlled but there is a cloud of smoke at different places, due to which there is a possibility that it may catch fire later but teams are working. As of now, there is no need (for IAF helicopters). Primarily it has come to the fore that the cause of the fire is due to a short circuit, but a team of experts has been formed to investigate it,&rdquo; Harinarayan Chari Mishra said, as quoted by ANI.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Madhya Pradesh Health Minister Prabhuram Chaudhary said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a high-level inquiry will be conducted into the incident.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&ldquo;It is an unfortunate incident. The administration is engaged in dousing the fire. CM also spoke with PM and all efforts are being made. A high-level inquiry will be conducted into the incident,&rdquo; Prabhuram Chaudhary told ANI.</span></p>
