8 People Shot In Philadelphia 1 Detained Weapon Recovered: Report

<p>At least eight people have been shot in a southwest neighborhood of Philadelphia, a police spokesperson said Monday evening, as per a report by CNN. Police spokesperson Miguel Torres told CNN that a person is in custody and a weapon has been recovered. Six victims were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and two were taken to the Children&rsquo;s Hospital of Philadelphia, police spokesperson Jasmine Reilly told CNN.</p> <p>The report added that the shooting happened on the 5700 block of Warrington Avenue in Philadelphia&rsquo;s Kingsessing neighborhood, as per police.</p> <p><strong>(More details awaited)</strong></p>
