Modi In France: Bastille Day Parade, Delegation Talks, CEO Forum — A Look At PM's Day 2 Itinerary

<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong> Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to France as he has been invited as the Guest of Honour at the Bastille Day Parade at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.&nbsp;French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne received Prime Minister Modi at the airport. A ceremonial welcome and Guard of honour were accorded to Prime Minister Modi upon his arrival at the airport.</p> <p>He then met French Senate President Gerard Larcher as he began his bilateral engagements to boost India's strategic ties with France.</p> <p>He later held delegation-level talks with Borne, where<span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">&nbsp;the leaders reviewed various facets of the India-France partnership as well as discussed measures to further strengthen the ties between both countries.</span></p> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">Later in the evening, he addressed an Indian Community event at the iconic La Seine Musicale and thereafter, the PM arrived at Elysee Palace for a private dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.</span></p> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">Ahead of his departure, PM Modi expressed confidence that his visit will provide a new impetus to the bilateral strategic partnership.</span></p> <p><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">&nbsp;"Rooted in deep trust and commitment, our two countries cooperate closely across various domains including defence, space, civil nuclear, blue economy, trade, investment, education, culture and people-to-people ties.
