<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong> Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie on Wednesday announced that they were separating after eighteen years of marriage. "Sophie and I would like to share the fact that after many meaningful and difficult conversations, we have made the decision to separate," Trudeau said on Instagram. He posted two selfies with her on the social media with a caption professing his love for her.</p> <p>"From this, to this, and everything in between, there’s no one I’d rather have by my side," the Canadian Prime Minister wrote.</p> <p>After Trudeau assumed the office in late 2015, he and Sophie were often seen together at social functions and on foreign trips. In May this year, PM Trudeau and his wife had travelled together to London to attend the coronation of King Charles III, and hosted US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden’s official visit to Ottawa in March, CTV reported.</p>
