PM Modi To Distribute 51,000 Appointment Letters To Newly-Inducted Govt Recruits At Rozgar Mela Today

<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong> Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute over 51,000 appointment letters to newly-inducted government recruits via video conferencing at the Rozgar Mela today, the Prime Minister&rsquo;s Office (PMO) said on Sunday. The Rozgar Mela will be held at 45 locations across the country, the PMO said.</p> <p>&ldquo;PM Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits on 28th August, 2023 at 10:30 AM via video conferencing.&nbsp; The Prime Minister will also address the appointees on the occasion,&rdquo; the PMO statement read.</p> <p>The newly-inducted recruits, who have been selected from across the country, will be joining various posts such as constable (general duty), sub-inspector (general duty) and non-general duty cadre positions in various organisations under the Ministry of Home Affairs, the PMO statement further said.</p> <p>It is to be noted that MHA aims to recruit personnel in central armed police forces (CAPFs) such as Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Assam Rifles, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the Delhi Police, through the Rozgar Mela. &nbsp;</p> <p>The PMO statement further said that boosting CAPFs as well as the Delhi Police through the new recruitments will help the organisations play a multidimensional role more effectively, that includes helping in internal security, counter-terrorism activities, combating insurgency, anti-left-wing extremism and also protecting the borders of the nation.</p> <p>&ldquo;The Rozgar Mela is a step towards the fulfilment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord highest priority to employment generation. The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development,&rdquo; the PMO statement read.</p> <p>Notably, the new appointees will also get the opportunity to train themselves through the &lsquo;Karmayogi Prarambh&rsquo;, an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, which offers over 673 e-learning courses for &lsquo;anywhere any device&rsquo; learning format, according to the PMO release.</p>
