Rahul Gandhi Speech Live Updates: Congress Leader Says Won't Speak On Adani Today

No Confidence Motion Debate in Parliament Live: Hello and welcome to the live blog on the no-confidence motion debate in Parliament. The debate on the no-trust motion began on Tuesday amid considerable turmoil, as the BJP "mocked" Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for declining to start the debate. The no-trust discussion was started by Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, who asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi three critical questions.  Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi stated: "PM took a ‘maun vrat' to not speak in the Parliament. So, we had to bring the No Confidence Motion to break his silence. We have three questions for him - 1) Why did he not visit Manipur to date? 2) Why did it take almost 80 days to finally speak on Manipur and when he did speak it was just for 30 seconds? 3) Why has the CM not sacked the Manipur CM so far?” Leaders of the Opposition alliance INDIA lodged a privilege resolution in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday against House Leader Piyush Goyal for referring to some Opposition members as "traitors." The Congress party's General Secretary in charge of Communications, turned to X (formerly known as Twitter), saying, "Nothing less than an apology from him on the floor of the House, when there is order, will do."   Furthermore, the INDIA group walked out of Rajya Sabha for the remainder of the day, claiming the Narendra Modi-led Central government's "continued refusal to allow an immediate discussion on Manipur violence issue, on the basis of a mutually negotiated Motion," according to Ramesh. “The continued refusal of the Leader of the House Piyush Goyal to apologise for highly objectionable remarks he made against leaders of INDIA parties,” was another reason behind the walkout. During the debate on the no-confidence motion against the government, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju stated: "When our government was formed, in the first cabinet meeting, (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi ji made a group and said that every 15 days, five cabinet ministers and seven ministers of state must tour the Northeast. It is still going on, all the ministers sitting here have toured the northeast." Subscribe And Follow ABP Live On Telegram:
