<p>Breaking News LIVE: Please follow this space for all the breaking news and latest updates from India and around the world.</p> <p><strong>Delhi HC To Hear Plea By Sukesh Chandrasekhar Seeking Quashing Of Money Laundering Case On Wednesday</strong></p> <p>The Delhi High Court said it will hear on December 6 a plea by alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar seeking quashing of a case lodged against him by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) under the anti-money laundering law in connection with the 2017 Election Commission bribery matter.</p> <p>Chandrasekhar was alleged to have taken money from former AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran in order to secure for the VK Sasikala faction the party's 'two leaves' symbol for contesting a by-poll in Tamil Nadu.</p> <p>Justice Amit Sharma, before whom the matter came up for hearing, transferred it to the bench dealing with cases involving legislators.</p> <p>Chandrasekhar sought quashing of the Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) and prosecution complaint (charge sheet) in the money laundering case. He also sought a direction to the trial court to not proceed with the criminal case pending before it.</p> <p><strong>Over 10 Lakh People Across Country To Be Trained In CPR On Wednesday</strong></p> <p>More than 10 lakh people will be trained in administering CPR in a single day across the country as part of an awareness programme, officials said on Tuesday.</p> <p>The programme, which will be held on Wednesday, is being organised by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).</p> <p>In CPR or "cardiopulmonary resuscitation" a special technique is used to press the heart muscles to keep a person alive till proper or institutional medical care is available.</p> <p>This is the first CPR awareness programme in the country which is being conducted at such a huge level, the officials said.</p> <p>"During this campaign, more than 10 lakh participants will be given training in a single sitting across the country," an official said.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
