Please follow this space for the live and latest updates relating to the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections.</p> <p>The fate of BJP and Congress will be decided today for Madhya Pradesh as the Election Commission of India (ECI) set to declare the results of assembly elections in five states, including MP. The state is crucial for both parties in view of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and for the fact that Congress had won it in 2018 but was ousted from power after Jyotiraditya Scindia led a rebellion against Congress forcing the them-CM Kamal Nath to resign.</p> <p>This marked the return of the BJP in the state and Shivraj Singh Chouhan was made the Chief Minister. Congress is hoping to repeat the Karnataka magic with its guarantees while the saffron party is determined to continue its reign in the state. On the other hand, exit polls have predicted a close fight between the two parties.</p> <p>According to ABP- Cvoter exit poll, BJP is expected to win anywhere between 88-112 seats while Congress is likely to get the majority and is projected to bag 113-137 seats. However, the numbers can always change and the real picture will come today.</p> <p>PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other senior BJP leaders had led the campaigning for the party while Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, party leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi among others led the charge for the party against the BJP.</p> <p>The elections to assemblies of five states-- Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram are crucial for the Congress which is hoping to regain the lost grip on the ground so that it can perform better in next year's general elections.</p> <p><span style="color: #e03e2d;"><a style="color: #e03e2d;" href="https://ift.tt/0EtvNTh APB Live Election Stories And Entire Coverage Here</strong></a></span></p>
