Princess Of Wales Admitted To London Hospital After Abdominal Surgery: Report

<p>Kensington Palace said on Wednesday that Princess Kate has been admitted to a private London clinic after undergoing planned abdominal surgery and will remain at the clinic for up to two weeks, as reported by news agency AP. Kate, the wife of Prince William and the future queen, was admitted to the London Clinic on Tuesday.</p> <p>After the news of Kate&rsquo;s hospitalisation emerged, Buckingham Palace said that King Charles III would undergo a &ldquo;corrective procedure&rdquo; next week for an enlarged prostate, AP reported. Though she has generally experienced good health, Kate was previously hospitalised while pregnant after suffering from severe morning sickness.</p> <p>The palace said that the 42-year-old had wished to apologise for postponing her upcoming engagements. &ldquo;She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible,&rdquo; the palace said, as quoted by AP. Born in Reading, England, on January 9, 1982, Kate is the daughter of a flight attendant and a flight dispatcher.
