The house where British novelist George Orwell was born, located in Bihar's Motihari, is currently in a dilapidated condition. A few years ago, its repair work was done, but despite that, the picture of his birthplace has not changed much. The windows, doors and roof of the house narrate the story of the poor condition of the structure. "There is already good awareness, today there is Central International School in Motihari and many youths are interested in reading literature, they read Orwell and also know him but the general public still does not have that much awareness against Orwell. Many things have changed but whenever a foreigner or a foreign journalist comes here to visit, he gets upset after seeing (the condition here," says VISHAVJEET MUKHERJEE, Documentary Film Maker and Writer Journalist.
