Flights Cancelled, Delayed After Major Power Cut At UK's Manchester Airport

<p>The flights are the UK's third-busiest airport were delayed or cancelled on Sunday after a major power cut in Manchester.</p> <p>The Manchester Airports Group, which also operates London Stansted and the East Midlands airports, said Manchester Airport had been "affected by a major power cut in the area earlier this morning."</p> <p>The electricity was restored after some time at the international airport in the north of England, but passengers due to travel from Terminals 1 and 2 were told to "not come to the airport" as all flights were cancelled "until further notice".</p> <p>The airport said its electricity supply went off at around 01:30 but has since been restored.
