Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and party MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday discussed preparations as well as strategy with the state unit leaders in view of the Haryana assembly elections. During this, the leaders of Haryana Congress were also instructed to avoid making public statements on mutual differences and internal matters of the party. The party leadership issued this instruction in the backdrop of the statements made by Kumari Selja and Randeep Surjewala after Kiran Chaudhary and her daughter Shruti Chaudhary left the Congress. Randeep Surjewala had said that if anyone leaves the party, it is a loss and the party should think about it. At the same time, Kumari Selja had said that justice was not done to Kiran Chaudhary. Congress Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda, former Union Minister Kumari Selja, State Congress Committee President Udaybhan, State Incharge Deepak Babaria and many other leaders attended the meeting held at the party headquarters.
