These by-elections witnessed moderate to high voter turnout, despite sporadic incidents of violence in Uttarakhand, Bihar, and West Bengal. Voting was conducted from 7 am to 6 pm.</p> <p>According to the Voter Turnout app of the Election Commission (EC), Tamil Nadu's Vikravandi assembly seat registered the highest polling percentage among the 13 constituencies, while Uttarakhand's Badrinath seat saw the lowest turnout. This electoral exercise, the first since the Lok Sabha elections, will determine the fate of several veterans and newcomers, including Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's wife, Kamlesh Thakur.</p> <p>Despite some incidents of violence in Bihar, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal, the polling process was largely peaceful. In Uttarakhand's Manglaur constituency, a clash between supporters of rival parties at a polling booth resulted in injuries to four individuals.</p> <h3>PM Modi To Visit Mumbai, Dedicate Projects Worth Rs 29,400 Crore</h3> <p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Mumbai on Saturday to either launch or dedicate several projects totaling approximately ₹29,400 crore, according to an official announcement from the Prime Minister's Office.</p> <p>According to ANI, he is expected to arrive at the NESCO Exhibition Centre in Goregaon around 5:30 PM, where he will also inaugurate various initiatives in the road, railway, and port sectors.</p> <h3>Puri Jagannath Temple Ratna Bhandar Reopening Decision: Minister</h3> <p>Odisha Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan announced that the state government will make a decision on the reopening of the Ratna Bhandar (treasury) of the Lord Jagannath temple in Puri on Saturday.</p> <p>The treasury was last opened 46 years ago in 1978, and its reopening became a significant political issue during the recent Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. The BJP had pledged to reopen the treasury for inventory purposes if elected in Odisha.</p> <p>"The state government is reviewing the legal and procedural aspects of the SOPs suggested by the temple managing committee. A decision will be announced on Saturday," the law minister stated, PTI reported.</p> <p>The administration of the Lord Jagannath temple is managed by the law department of the state government.</p>
