This year, Diwali will be celebrated on the same day in both Northern and Southern India. Diwali 2024 will begin on Tuesday, October 29, with Dhanteras and conclude on Sunday, November 3, with Bhai Dooj. Sprinkle akshat on top of it. Then, lay a wooden seat covered with a red cloth. Place the idols of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesh on the seat.<br />Before starting the puja, establish the idols of the Panchadev: Surya Dev, Shri Ganesh, Durga, Shiva, and Vishnu. Along with this, sanctify the setup with a sprinkle of Ganga water.</p> <p>First, begin the puja with the mantras dedicated to Lord Ganesh.
