Mumbai: 3 Dead, 20 Injured As BEST Bus Collides With Several Vehicles In Kurla, CCTV Footage Surfaces

<p><strong>Mumbai News:</strong> A major road accident occurred in Kurla when a BEST bus collided with several vehicles on S G Barve Marg on Monday. Another person sustained injuries in the collision.</p> <p>The incident occurred at approximately 4:45 am when a speeding truck allegedly collided with a bus near the Lohmod Hotel. The police received a call from the Vasant Kunj North police station and promptly arrived at the scene.</p> <p>Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of the three victims at the accident site. One person was found trapped in the driver&rsquo;s seat of the truck. The deceased individuals were identified as Abhishek (19), Nidhi (19), and Kanta Devi (50).</p> <p>The driver of the truck was identified as Taufiq (25), a resident of Alwar, Rajasthan. Investigations revealed that the victims were unloading their luggage from the bus&rsquo;s luggage compartment when the truck struck them.</p> <p>The crime team thoroughly inspected the accident scene and promptly transported the bodies to Safdarjung Hospital for further medical attention. Taufiq is also currently being treated at the hospital.</p> <p>In response to the incident, a case has been registered, and an ongoing investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.</p>
