DGP Prashant Says, '4 Criminals Killed, Inspector Sunil Injured in the Encounter' | ABP Live

<p>In a statement about the encounter in Shamli conducted by Uttar Pradesh STF, DGP Prashant Kumar said, "Four criminals were killed during the operation, and Inspector Sunil was seriously injured. Inspector Sunil suffered 3-4 gunshot wounds and is in critical condition, receiving treatment at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. One of the deceased criminals has been identified as Arshad, who had a bounty of ₹1 lakh and was wanted in a robbery case in Saharanpur. His associates, identified as Manjeet and Satish, were also killed. The STF recovered one Brezza car, two pistols, one carbine, and three guns from the criminals. Arshad was an active member of the Mukim Kala gang, with over 16 criminal cases against him, including five murders. After his release in June 2024, he resumed his criminal activities."</p>
