Shah Says Delhi Will Sweep Out AAP's '3G' Govt With 'Jhaadu', Vows Yamuna Dip After 2 Years Of BJP Rule

<p>Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during a poll rally in Delhi's Mustafabad on Saturday, accused the Aam Aadmi Party of engaging in corruption and sheltering illegal immigrants, claiming that there was a "big wave" against the party in the city and that the AAP leaders were well aware of it. He also promised to take a dip in the Yamuna, two years after the BJP forms a government in Delhi.</p> <p>Shah said the wave was against the AAP-led government as it was running a "3G government of ghapla, ghuspaithiyon ko panah, and ghotala".&nbsp; He also claimed that the Delhi voters will sweep out the party from the city with a "broom" in the upcoming Assembly elections.</p> <p>"The first G stands for 'ghotale wali sarkar' (a government which commits scams), the second G stands for 'ghuspaithiyon ko panaah dene wali sarkar' (a government that shelters intruders) and the third G stands for 'ghaple karne wali sarakar' (a government that indulges in corruption)," he said, underlining the issue illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in the city.</p> <p>The Union Minister further targeted Kejriwal over polluted Yamuna River and promised to clean it in two years if the BJP forms a government in Delhi. He also said he would take a dip in the Yamuna during Chhath Puja, and mentioned how the AAP chief did not take a dip in the river despite saying that he would.</p> <p>He further alleged that Kejriwal deceived the people from Uttarakhand and Purvanchal by promising them to purify the Yamuna, but failing to do so.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>"I urge you all to help BJP form the govt. I promise that I, along with you, will take a dip in Yamuna during the Chhath that will be celebrated after two years. Arvind Kejriwal has befooled the Purvanchalis and Uttarakhandis. He promised to clean Yamuna, but neither he tried to do it, nor allowed us to do it," Shah said while speaking at another poll rally in Karawal Nagar Assembly constituency.&nbsp;</p> <p>Continuing the "sheesh mahal" attack on the former Delhi CM, Shah, while addressing another rally in Sonia Vihar, said: "During Anna's movement, he (Arvind Kejriwal) used to say loudly, that he would not form a political party...He had said that he would put Sheila Dikshit in jail, he would not take the support of Congress, he swore on his children but he broke the oath of his children and became the Chief Minister by taking the support of Congress. He stressed that the middle class is always in PM Modi's heart as he lauded the income tax exemption till Rs 12 lakh income. He said the budget covers all the sections from the middle class to the farmers, and sectors such as health, startups, innovation, and investment.
