<p data-pm-slice="0 0 []">A helicopter of the Malaysian Police (PDRM) nosedived and crashed in the waters of Sungai Pulai on Thursday, the authorities said, adding that five police personnel on the chopper were rescued. Three countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore, were part of the exercise.</p> <p>A statement was issued by the civil aviation ministry of Malaysia confirming the incident. The accident took place at 9:51 am and involved a PDRM AS355N helicopter. According to the <a class="qbe-widget" href="https://ift.tt/ke6braC" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">theedgemalaysia.com</a>, the registration number of the helicopter was 9M-PHG.</p> <p>According to the civil aviation authority, the helicopter had taken off from the Tanjung Kupang police station at 9.51 am (local time).</p> <p>The Hindustan Times reported that two of the five police personnel in the helicopter are in critical condition, requiring respiratory assistance. Both of them were receiving treatment at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA) in Johor Bahru.</p>
