A senior US official said in July that the pact could potentially be concluded within three to four months.</p> <h2 data-section-id="95d8bg" data-start="994" data-end="1027">Trade Deal Remains Key Agenda</h2> <p data-start="1029" data-end="1305">The two countries had earlier reached a framework for an interim trade agreement in February 2026.
