Amit Shah To Launch Digital Portal Of Central Registrar Of Cooperative Societies In Pune Today

<p><strong>New Delhi:</strong> Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch the digital portal of the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS) office in Pune today. The move comes in a bid to boost the cooperative movement in India and aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi&rsquo;s vision of &lsquo;Sahkar se Samridhi&rsquo;. CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and Minister Chandrakant Patil receive him.<br /><br />He will launch the digital portal of the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS) office in Pune tomorrow. <a href="https://t.co/OCdjpZuTgR">pic.twitter.com/OCdjpZuTgR</a></p> &mdash; ANI (@ANI) <a href="https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1687830779169267712?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 5, 2023</a></blockquote> <p> <script src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" async="" charset="utf-8"></script> </p> <p>According to a press release by the Ministry of Cooperation, the primary objectives of the digital portal include implementing completely paperless applications, ensuring automatic compliance with Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act (MSCS Act) and rules through software, promoting the ease of doing business, ensuring digital communication, enabling transparent processing, and boosting analytics and management information systems.</p> <p>The online portal will encompass different modules that include registration, amendment of by-laws, annual return filing, appeal, audit, inspection, inquiry, arbitration, winding up, liquidation, ombudsman, and election, the Ministry of Cooperation press release read.</p> <p>The cooperative portal will help speed up the processing of applications and service requests, thereby, facilitating a time-bound approach.</p> <p>&ldquo;The new portal will also have provisions for OTP based user registration, validation checks for compliance with the MSCS Act and Rules, hearing through video conference, issue of registration certificate and electronic communication. This project of computerization will prove helpful in registration of new MSCS and will ease their functioning,&rdquo; the release further said.</p> <p>Notably, a &lsquo;Hackathon&rsquo; was also organised to ensure the involvement of youth and invite more ideas. The Ministry has also invited suggestions and feedback from all National Cooperative Societies and Multi-State Cooperative Societies.</p>
