UP CM Yogi Adityanath Orders Immediate FIR Against Ansal Group, Assures Buyers Of Full Protection

<p>Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed the immediate registration of an FIR against Ansal Group over alleged fraudulent practices involving homebuyers. The Chief Minister assured buyers of full protection and warned that strict action would be taken against those responsible. &nbsp;</p> <p>Chairing a high-level review meeting on Monday regarding the Housing and Urban Planning Department, CM Yogi ordered FIRs to be filed in all districts where homebuyers have been defrauded by the Ansal Group. He instructed officials to take strong legal action against the officers of the company responsible. &nbsp;</p> <p>A special committee comprising aggrieved buyers and the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will lead the legal battle to present concrete evidence in court. The Chief Minister also ordered that the registration of disputed properties linked to the company be halted immediately. &nbsp;</p> <p>Officials informed CM Yogi that the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) had passed a unilateral order without notifying the LDA and Housing Department. He issued crucial directives for the swift implementation of various schemes. &nbsp;</p> <p>CM Yogi instructed development authorities and the Housing Development Board to ensure land availability for 100 new townships, 100 hotels, and 100 hospitals. He emphasised the importance of digitisation in administrative processes and the need to fast-track property disposals. &nbsp;</p> <p>To address urbanisation challenges, the Chief Minister directed authorities to enhance residential facilities by developing high-quality housing, parks, and gyms. He suggested constructing high-rises where necessary to optimise space and improve living standards. &nbsp;</p> <h3><strong> Uttar Pradesh's Infrastructure, Expansion Plans &nbsp;</strong></h3> <p>Reviewing metro projects in Kanpur, Lucknow, and Agra, CM Yogi instructed officials to accelerate construction to meet deadlines. He also set a March deadline for finalising and implementing GIS-based master plans across various districts. &nbsp;</p> <p>Additionally, the Chief Minister directed officials to expedite land acquisition for the Agra Inner Ring Road Rahnkala and Raipur project, ensuring close coordination with local farmers. He stressed the importance of controlling unplanned urban expansion in cities such as Jhansi, Bareilly, Aligarh, Gorakhpur, Bulandshahr, Chitrakoot, and Agra under the Chief Minister Urban Expansion New City Promotion Scheme. &nbsp;</p> <p>During the meeting, CM Yogi also reviewed the progress of the International Exhibition and Convention Center in Lucknow, instructing officials to fast-track all scheduled works for timely completion.</p>
